Wolves unveil Primrose and Blue messages

4th February 2013
Warrington Wolves were delighted to unveil the new supporters wall at The Halliwell Jones Stadium prior to Sunday’s home opener.
The club are proud of their loyal supporters and the numbers who turned out on Sunday once again highlighted how tight the Wolves’ family is.
The Mayor of Warrington Cllr Steve Wright, leader of the council Cllr Terry O’Neill, Wolves’ chairman Steven Broomhead and club ambassador Alex Murphy OBE cut the official ribbon to unveil the Primrose and Blue wall of messages.
Supporters were then given the opportunity to search the wall for their brick which is now a feature at the home of the Wolves. The centre-piece to the wall commemorates the Wolves’ Challenge Cup victory last year as the Wolves’ team now embark on their 2013 campaign.
Andy Gatcliffe, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “On behalf of the club I would like to thank all of our supporters for your continued loyalty. You once again turned out in large numbers for the unveiling of the wall which we believe celebrates everything that is Primrose and Blue giving you the chance to leave your mark at the stadium. You have played a huge part in making the club the success it is today and we look forward to sharing the new season with you both home and away.”
