Fresh deal for Dixon
7th March 2013
London Broncos have rewarded their exciting winger Kieran Dixon with a new contract.
The 20-year-old product of Hemel Stags made a big impact in his first season in Super League, which culminated in a call-up for England Knights, and he has been rewarded with a contract extension which will keep him at the club until the end of 2014.
“I’m really happy to get another few years at the Broncos,” said Dixon, who was the club’s joint leading try-scorer in 2012 with 16 touchdowns and has scored five in five appearances so far this year.
“Everything has gone really fast, it’s seems like just a few hours since I was making my debut against St Helens and playing the majority of the season.
“To be where I am now is just a massive achievement.”
London coach Tony Rea said: “He’s a really important person and he’s a pleasure to have around the place. He represents the club and everything we’re about by the way he represents himself.
“It’s a reward for what he does off the field complemented by what he does on the field.”
