Yeaman facing six-week lay-off

12th March 2013
Hull FC centre Kirk Yeaman has been ruled out for six weeks after scans revealed he broke his thumb in Friday’s 52-0 win over Castleford Tigers.
The 29-year-old England international, who has been an ever-present so far this season, damaged his hand diving on a loose ball and underwent surgery this morning.
Hull will also be without second row forward Danny Tickle for Saturday’s game at Huddersfield Giants through suspension after he took an early guilty plea to punching during the game against the Tigers.
Hooker or half-back Aaron Heremaia is also doubtful for the weekend after suffering rib cartilage damage.
