The weather claimed its first casualty of the weekend when tonight's Super League game between Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Leeds Rhinos was postponed.

The Wildcats said in a statement on their website that the clash had been wiped out due to "heavy snowfall" and that it would instead be played on Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm.

In tonight's other Super League fixtures, Warrington Wolves versus Huddersfield Giants is set to go ahead as planned at 8pm and St Helens versus Salford City Reds is still on as it stands with a further announcement expected after 1:30pm.

In the Kingstone Press Championship tomorrow's game between Batley and Swinton has be postponed until 2pm on Sunday 24th March.
