Tuimavave heads home

1st November 2013

Hull KR have released prop forward Evarn Tuimavave from the final year of his contract on compassionate grounds.

The New Zealander, 29, who joined the Robins on a two-year deal from Newcastle Knights ahead of the 2013 season, asked for a release so that he could return to the southern hemisphere to be nearer to his family.

Hull KR chief executive Mike Smith said: "Evarn requested a release as he wanted to return home to be nearer family and friends.

"On behalf of everyone at the club I'd like to thank him for his contribution during 2013 and wish him all the very best for the future."
