Hull FC winger Tom Lineham broke his ankle during Friday's 44-16 First Utility Super League win over Bradford Bulls, the club have confirmed.
The 21-year-old, who made the 2013 Super League Dream Team after scoring 14 tries in 21 appearances, suffered the injury in the final minute of the match at the KC Stadium and X-rays over the weekend showed a fracture to his right ankle.
Hull say Lineham will undergo surgery this week and, writing on his official Twitter account, the former York City Knights player said: "Thanks for all the kind messages, very touching. Fans, players and staff been wonderful, devastated to say broken my leg. Tough times!"
