Widnes Vikings have lost prop Alex Gerrard but welcome back forwards Gareth Hock, Ben Cross and Eamonn O'Carroll as well as centres Cameron Phelps and Chris Dean and full-back Rhys Hanbury, who all sat out the cup win over Doncaster.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are close to full strength, with 10 players returning to the side after being rested for the cup tie against Hemel, led by captain Danny Kirmond and half-backs Paul Sykes and Tim Smith. Full-back Richard Mathers is their only injury absentee.
