Centre James Mendeika, who has joined London Broncos on loan from Warrington Wolves, makes his Super League debut while Olsi Krasniqi and Mike McMeeken return in place of Shane Grady and Scott Wheeldon.

Prop Luke Thompson will become the 11th player to make his debut for St Helens in 2013 as coach Nathan Brown wrestles with a chronic shortage of players due to injury and suspension. Nathan Ashe is set to make his second appearance of the season in place of the suspended Jon Wilkin with Adam Swift returning on the wing.
