England winger Ryan Hall grabbed a hat-trick and Rob Burrow marked his 400th appearance with a try as Leeds Rhinos cantered to a 46-6 derby victory over struggling Bradford Bulls.

The Bulls never recovered from a blistering start by the visitors, who scored four tries in the first 14 minutes, and a sixth straight defeat keeps them rooted to the foot of First Utility Super League.

The Bradford fans were given a reminder of their glory days before kick-off when record-breaking winger Lesley Vainikolo was introduced to the crowd but it was one of the modern game's leading wingers who stole the show.

Hall created a try for his centre partner Joel Moon before scoring three of his own to take his tally for the season to 11 in nine appearances.

The Bulls, who were without winger Jamie Foster and hooker Matt Diskin, clawed their way back into the game and full-back Brett Kearney impressed on his 100th appearance for the club but they were generally outclassed by their high-flying visitors.

Burrow led Leeds out on his landmark appearance but it was his old half-back partner Danny McGuire who sparked the early onslaught, dribbling the ball into space for skipper Kevin Sinfield to get the touch and open the scoring after just three minutes.

Hall then combined superbly with Moon to get the Australian over for a try and his partner returned the favour shortly afterwards.

McGuire also got in on the act, jinking his way over for a solo try and Sinfield kicked two conversions to give the Rhinos a 20-0 lead.

Bradford could not get their hands on the ball as Leeds cleverly retained possession and the Bulls only try came after 22 minutes from an attacking kick by Rhinos full-back Zak Hardaker.

Stand-off Lee Gaskell got on the end of the kick his near his own line and outsprinted the pursuing Kallum Watkins on a 90-metre run for his first try for the club.

Luke Gale added the conversion to make it 20-6 after 22 minutes and that was how it stayed for the rest of the first half as the home side demonstrated their battling spirit.

However, there was no way back for Bradford once Leeds scored first in the second half.

Right winger Tom Briscoe was denied a try for a knock-on but the Rhinos immediately worked the ball across the full width of the pitch for Hall to go over for his second try.

Sinfield struck the woodwork for the second time but he was on target five minutes later after another slick pass from Moon enabled Hall to complete his hat-trick.

With his side firmly in control at 30-6, Sinfield's work was done for the night as coach Brian McDermott began to look ahead to the Easter Monday fixture with Salford Red Devils.

Bradford missed a clear-cut scoring opportunity when Kearney broke free from halfway, only for the supporting Danny Bridge to drop the final pass.

That was the signal for Leeds to pile on the agony for their hosts.

Substitute Liam Sutcliffe, who spent a month on loan to Bradford earlier in the season, and Watkins went through a tiring defence for tries and Burrow fittingly got in on the act by supporting a break from Carl Ablett to touch down.

Taking over the goalkicking from Sinfield, Hardaker landed two of his three conversion attempts to wrap up the scoring.
