Round 21 Team of the Week

Impressive comebacks, movement at the bottom of the table and Red Devils running riot headlined Round 21 of Betfred Super League.

Wigan and Hull KR kicked off the action in Round 21 with the Warriors finishing comfortable winners against a depleted Robins side. Both Bevan French and Liam Marshall crossed for a hat-trick of tries and set up another, with Marshall also running for an impressive 177 metres from 18 carries.

Hull FC earned an important win away at Toulouse to stay in top six contention. Front rower Kane Evans had a busy evening for the Black & Whites โ€“ the Fijian put in a dominant 60-minute display down the middle, running for 135 metres from 18 carries and making 4 offloads.

Trinity lifted themselves off the foot of the table whilst also ending a 17 game losing streak against Castleford. Jacob Miller put in a captainโ€™s performance for Wakefield, setting up 3 tries and carrying the ball more than any other player on the field.

Huddersfield moved back into third place thanks to a home win against the Wolves on Saturday. It was a typically industrious performance through the middle from Giants skipper Luke Yates โ€“ he made 34 tackles, missing none, during a tough 67 minute display.

The Rhinos produced a stunning golden point comeback to defeat Catalans in the South of France on Saturday Night. Richie Myler crossed for a crucial second half hat-trick as Leeds came back from a 30-6 point deficit to shock the Dragons.

The Red Devils ran riot against the Champions in the final game of Round 21. Tim Lafai put on a clinic in the centres for Salford โ€“ he set up 3 tries, made 3 clean breaks, 7 tackle busts, 3 offloads and ran for 193 metres from 16 carries.
